Will the proceedure look natural?
Yes. When the microblading stokes have fully healed, they will look very natural and it will be difficut to distinguish between a microblade stroke and a real hair stroke. See my gallery images which demonstare that the microblading will be specialised to your needs and I ill accomodate to any colour tone, strength or look you desire.
What if I have a medical conditions?
A full and thorough medical assesment will be pior to any treatment will take place. Under no circumstances will I go forward with a proceedure without doing a fully comprensive assesment of your health piror to the treatment.
Does the proceedure hurt? The proceedure, for some clients is slightly concomfortable, but bareable. I do supply numbing cream, or altenitively, you can bring your own, however I would advise against thiswhere possible as it can have an affect on colour retention and your healed results. Those with lighter skin tones e.g red heads, blonds and those with oily skin may experience more redness and swelling than those with darker skin types.
What should I do/ should not do before the proceedure? You should avoid any activity that will cause sweating on the day of your treatment. Please refrain from taking the following medications on the day or the day prior to the treatment: Aspirin, Fish Oil, Coumadin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen unless you are medically advise to do so. You must have completed acne treatment (Accutane) for at least one year prior to the treatment. or best results, caffine should be avoided 24 hours prior and post treatment. Smoking will cause the pigment to fade prematurely. Pracetamol is fine to take. Sun exposure should be avoided 30 days prior and post treatment I reserve the right to apply my own discression if I feel that the pre-proceedure advice has not beeen followed correctly you will be forced to reschedue your appointment and your deposit will be lost as a result.
What after-care should I be following after my treatment?
All this advice will be revisited after your treatment is complete and I will give you a brochure with all of this information inside. After the treatment, when you arive home, please rinse the treated area with cool boiled water after 30-90 minutes. use clean cotten pads to apply the water to the area to remove any lymphatic/fluid. Repeat this with 2 hourly intervals no more than 2 times. Then dry heal the area for 14 days. Try your best to avoid any water getting into contact with the affected area, however if this does happen pat dry with a cleandry tissue as gently as possible. You may experience a more intense itchy sensation around day 3 or 4 post treatment. If this occures use a small amount of Bepanthen (which will be given to you in your aftercare treatment) but please make sure not to over moisterise them. Scabbing or flaking is natural and this sould not be touched or picked at. Only clean hands sould touch the treated area. No make-up or creams, under any circumstances, should be applied to the area. Only if the scabs have disapeared after 2 weeks can you get the brows wet. There is to be NO exercise that causes sever sweating, swimming, sunbathing, sunbeds, saunas, direct shower spray, water or makeup to be applied in the healing period post proceedure (14 days). After the healing it is also advised that whenever you are swimming wear a layer of vasaline on the brows to protect the colour from chlorine/salt water from entering and disrupting the colour.
What is the price of this proceedure? The cost for the microblading procedure is £250 which includes a top-up to be taken within 6-8 weeks after your first treatment. The cost for the 'Blended Brow' which is darker and more shaded is £250 which also includes a top-up within 6-8 weeks after your treatment. A deposit of £50 will be required to book the treatment.
Can I drink alcohol prior to my treatment?
It is advised that you do not drink alcohol the night before, or on the day of, your treatment. This can affect pigment retention.
Are there any risks involved in this treatment? Rest assured I am a fully comprehensive, certified and insured brow artist who takes hygine and safety very seriously in all treatments carried out. However, the treatment is invasive and therefore some risks maybe involved with this treatment which are commonly linked to poor aftercare and the pre-treatment advice not followed precisely. These risks can innclude but are not limited to, allergic reaction, undesired result or colour, misplaced colour, infection or scarring.
